DI water is used for rinsing purpose in PCB manufacturing process. Typically DI water requires certain hardness, conductivity, bacteria and particles. This can be achieved with conventional RO/DM plants with UV and cartridge filters.
Wastewater Treatment
Different type of wastewater results from different process steps of PCB manufacturing process. The wastewater plant becomes very complex in nature to treat heavy metals, photoresist etc. You need to seggregate and treat the wastewater separately depending on type of impurity. This process requires huge amount of rinse water producing respective amount of effluents. ZLD systems are implemented to fulfill Pollution Control Board requirements and also to conserve water.
